Woodbine Cottage is where Donald Healey the creator of the Austin Healey car was born in 1898 and grew up to become one of the most respected names in the UK car industry.
Opposite the Cottage there is a beautifully maintained Boating Lake and Gardens with plenty of ducks to keep you entertained and with many benches to sit and relax and enjoy the gorgeous flower beds. In the Summer, small rowing boats and Pitch and Putt are available and there is also a bowling green where you can play for a small fee.
Just 2 minutes up the road from the Cottage, the Children can enjoy the play park with a football pitch and basketball court. Alongside the Park is the tennis club so bring your own rackets and book the Court for a game.
The seaside town of Perranporth is located on the North Coast of Cornwall. With an array of restaurants, takeaways and eating establishments you will have plenty of choice, whether your hoping for a pasty, cream tea or fish and chips, you will find something for all tastes.
With the spectacular Southwest Coast Path to enjoy, you can breath in the salty air and take in the beautiful, rugged scenery and mining heritage passing old cornish engine houses. Walking a few miles on the coastal path will take you to the quaint village of St Agnes, with a lovely beach and local shops and restaurants.
Dogs are allowed on Perranporth beach all year round, although you are expected to keep them on a lead during July and August. There are countless walks nearby to enjoy, including The Lost Church and St Pirans Oratory.

Further along is the popular town of Newquay (less than 20 minutes away), you can enjoy the famous surf beach of Fistral or enjoy Newquay Zoo, Blue Reef Aquarium or a rainy day take the Children to the Trampoline Park.
